Aaron is absurdly low, but other than that the ratings aren't especially problematic.

With the guys, as said Aaron is criminally low as is Chase. Creighton and Phillip are both too high.
No problem with the girls tbh. Maybe I'll do that e-mail scores thing or something. -------------------- |

I have no major problems with any of the ratings, though Aaron is definitely a bit too low. And I'd personally rate Phillip higher, but what can ya do.
Also think Erika is too high... This post has been edited by kresslia: Mar 1st 2012, 8:24 AM -------------------- i be cassie ♥ // CONGRATULATIONS CANDICE!

Something to possibly look for in WNTS this coming week. Last year's top 24 performance ratings:
1.Pia Toscano-93 2.Jacob Lusk-90 3.Casey Abrams-88 4.Thia Megia-85 5.James Durbin-83 6.Lauren Alaina-75 7.Paul McDonald-70 8.Naima Adedapo-67.5 9.Scotty McCreery-65 10.Stefano Langone- 61.5- average between both semis and wildcard performances 11.Karen Rodriguez-54 12.Haley Reinhart-47 13.Ashthon Jones-42-average between both semis and wildcard performances Note that the 3 lowest rated contestants going into that show were the bottom 3 that week. Granted, the course of the competition changed greatly, but let's not jump that far just yet. Here are the current ratings. 1.Jessica Sanchez-84 2.Elise Testone-83 3.Joshua Ledet- 80 4.Hollie Cavanagh-77 5.Skylar Laine-74 6.Erika Van Pelt-69 (average of both performances) 7.Phillip Phillips-65 8.Shannon Magrane-63 9.Colton Dixon-62 10.Jeremy Rosado-60.5 (average of both performances) 11.Jermaine Jones-53 12.Hee Jun Han-42 13.DeAndre Brackensick-39.5 (average of both performances) This post has been edited by guitarman8484: Mar 3rd 2012, 5:15 PM --------------------

I've come to accept WNTS as a bit of a sham.
They've moved performances up or down based on who got voted in or a WC or not. Apparently Heejun and Brielle jumped 5 points overnight and Hallie and Chelsea dropped 6 points. They finally moves Aaron up a couple points, but he really should be in the mid-60's. This post has been edited by Sportsman280: Mar 2nd 2012, 11:20 PM -------------------- |

It's because they calculated ratings of the wildcard performances. No, they recalculated the Top 24 show performance ratings. And magically, middle of the pack people that went through go up as much as 5 points (except Deandre and Jeremy) and select people that were assumed mid-packers pre-results show that didn't go through (except Aaron) dropped as much as 6 points. They based at least a significant portion of their scores (essentially between 15 to 20% of the final score) on judge/America's reaction. I assumed they were quite a bit more objective than that. The scores always settle with some big differences from the overnight rankings to the next update, especially since the girls show was still airing when they initially posted them.
And moving onto the wildcard show, euw at Erika not being at least 10 points higher and only nine points ahead of Jeremy. -------------------- ![]() i ♥andrew. ai12: angie. candice. kree. dwts16: valdaya. s26: eddie. reynold. tv4: sarah. josiah. last.fm a-miller.org lee-dewyze.net lists: idol dance survivor |

Sportsman, I have a feeling that if Aaron were higher or in the top 13 you wouldn't have said that! --------------------

Holy overrated performances, Batman. In no way did any of the performances this week deserve above a 70-75 rating.
This post has been edited by Fearless: Mar 3rd 2012, 3:14 PM -------------------- At the finale though, no matter what girl they're against, I fully expect the grandest bussing ever against the guy. F*cked up ear monitors (ala Diana Degarmo), a winners single that ONLY fits the female, lukewarm comments to the guy (not too mean to warrent sympathy, but not too positive to warrant a win), and probably Nigel coming on stage with a crowbar and Tonya Harding' them in the throat mid-performance.

And moving onto the wildcard show, euw at Erika not being at least 10 points higher and only nine points ahead of Jeremy. If I'm reading the stats correctly, Erika got a 76 on the wildcard performance. That would put her in 5th place if it was only based on her highest-ranked performance. I guess her performance wasn't quite the tour de force many people claim it is. Maybe there was room for improvement...and maybe critiques could be helpful to her. -------------------- |
