I know we have 2 days until we get any ratings, but I figured I'd start this for when it's ready to go. Great predictor of results, and all around just a fun site to go to!

You can help by providing data for their baseline scoring on each episode.

Help Wanted, 2012 Edition: Readers are once again invited to email us their rated reviews of the performances after each episode. Whether you grade the performances on a 0-to-100 scale, or one to ten, or A through F is completely up to you, as long as you are consistent from week to week. We use these reviews to help set the high, low, and average rating for the episode accurately. (Emailed reviews are not used directly to calculate any individual performance's rating – for that, we use our web sources as always.)

So if you would like to put your $0.02 in at the end of every show and help improve WNTS, both for this season and beyond, now would be a great time to start. Its useful in determining if an extreme web-based rating is an outlier or actually representative enough to include in the standard deviation. If they find an extreme web-based rating to be an outlier, they could exclude it from the episode ratings.

oh so they trust those that email as a way to see the general idea. However, we are such a small sample size and the same ones over and over and might be counted twice if they added ours into the web one.

I can't find that thread I posted about the contestants pre-exposure levels(how much airtime they had before semis) which were based on this site. So here is how they have them.

I'd also put Jessica as minimal as well vs HW cause she only was shown 2/6th of all her performances

I wonder if the actual time they've been on air makes a difference. For that to be the case you'd have to actually time them, since it appears to have been lost I could time just the ones in question.

Elise is Hollywood, they montaged her audition.
Reed is barely promo, as they gave his background at audition.

Minimal is pretty much you get very short glimpses of them singing and no personal screentime.

Jessica and Haley both got to talk in their GM segments, so they ain't minimal.

I don't agree only with Elise's pre-exposure level. IMO she's hollywood.

If you email them with your opinions on Exposure Levels, they'll change them. They typically go by what most people feel in regards to them.

Also, just realized that Hollie's the first contestant to get marked with "None" since S8.

They count promo based off how the audition is set up, not the Hollywood rounds.
