I'm seriously so happy. When the news about Parker was first leaked, everyone at the fan club flipped their crap and said they'd leave the fandom. Can't wait to see what they do this time!

Basically, if he was lying to HIMSELF all these years also, can we really blame him for lying to the public? It's not the kind of thing where it's just automatically a straight yes or no answer. It requires a LOT of soul searching, and he may just have not been ready to even admit it to HIMSELF for a long time. And that's not anything we can *really* blame on him- it's a product of the culture in which he was brought up. It's a really, REALLY difficult thing for some people to come out. So yeah, technically he lied. But it's not the kind of thing where.. he would have KNOWN he was lying when he said it, because it was something he just probably havn't even accepted in HIMSELF, let alone been ready to share with the world at large. So that's why I'm sooooo proud of him  And I truly hope that he's happy and has more peace of mind now that he doesn't have to keep living a lie, basically.--------------------

haha i love this. because back in 7th grade i woulda cried...now im a senoir and im sooooo happy for him.

Seriously. SCREW any of the "fans" who would actually let this be a reason they stop liking his music. Even if you DO disagree with homosexuality, a practical person would step back and realize that his personal life has NOTHING to do with him as a performer.
(and just for the record, in MY view Christianity is about having an inner FAITH, and focusing on spreading love rather than hatred. So in that respect he is still VERY much a Christian And even more importantly, he just seems like a genuinely lovely, kind human being, and if "Christians" can't see beyond who he happens to be attracted to to that, then screw 'em I say  --------------------

Wow.
SO havent been back in forever but saw that cover on Perez and...wow. I like ran into the livingroom to show my mom. I'm glad he's out. Really not even a fan anymore since he hasnt been doing much and I wasnt a big fan of his last album. I guess tastes change but I'll never forget him for singing with me and showing me how much I love singing. I'm glad he's out and love that he had a baby because he wanted to be a father. I named his son Parker in my fan fics! haha. I'm happy for him and all those who think homosexuality is wrong can blow it out your behinds. It's 2008. Look around. You're gonna be very lonely if you continue to hate people who are different.  I'll be watching his interview on GMA. Maybe this will bring me back to the fandom haha.
